Foodbank

Horndean and Clanfield Foodbank provides a short-term, free, emergency food supply for families in crisis.

Our parcels provide enough nutritious basic ingredients to create several meals. We serve and work in partnership with people of all faiths and of none. Horndean Foodbank is run by Horndean Baptist Church and is generously stocked and supported by the WI Catherington and individuals from Horndean and the surrounding areas. The Co-op in Clanfield and Merchistoun Hall have collection points where food is collected for us to give out.

If you’d like to request a food parcel, contact us on 07914 504715. We’d also love to hear from you if you are able to donate food to the foodbank. For any other enquiries please email us.

If you are from a statutory agency and you would like to refer a client, please find our referral form here.

The foodbank also has a Facebook page: www.facebook.com/HorndeanandClanfieldFoodbank.

We are aware that our foodbank can only offer emergency help with food, but that people may need support beyond that. Christians Against Poverty (CAP)'s website provides advice around finances as well as informs you about in-person provisions near you. Another organisation that may be able to support you are Citizens Advice. You can speak to them in person at Waterlooville Library on Mondays 10am-2pm or Wednesdays 10am-3pm.
